QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Red Pine Software is looking for talented software engineers to grow its team for ADAS projects. 

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) are the two main expertise areas of the company.

IVI is the main screen in an automobile for information and entertainment purposes and the projects are mainly based on Linux and Android platforms.

ADAS projects will be consisting of features like surround view, smart rear view, night vision, driver monitoring and much more as a platform for more advanced driving technologies. ADAS project team will be integrating and optimizing algorithms on target hardware platform. The end product is safety critical and process used throughout the projects will be compliant with ISO26262 Functional Safety standard.

The engineers will be developing, maintaining and integrating embedded software for automotive platforms and products. ADAS platforms (TI, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Intel, etc), automotive interfaces (LIN, CAN, FlexRay, etc) and several types of sensors will be used throughout the development. Projects will be targeting very well-known international automotive companies and project teams will be cooperating with foreign teams. Several travels are to be expected for workshops and trainings abroad.

The candidates should have good technical degree in computer science or electronics engineering or proven experience.

Experience in embedded software development and understanding of RTOS and related development environments is expected. Proficiency in C/C++ and good understanding of multitasking systems is a must.

Knowledge of automotive platforms and interfaces, camera types and interfaces, GPU and DSP systems will be great plus. Also understanding of software life cycle processes and tools is advantageous.

Candidates are expected to have fluent English, both written and spoken to work with international teams and customers.
