We are looking for a Operations Manager for our client which is operating in health sector in Diyarbakır
- From Noth Cyprus or Turkey, someone who understands the country dynamics
- Fluent English
- Bachelor's degree in Economics/Business Administration/Health Management. MBA is considered an advantage
- 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3-5 years of progressive administrative experience in a similar position within a hospital organization
- Demonstrated leadership skills acquired through extensive managerial experience in a hospital/health centre environment
- Must be able to motivate, inspire, and communicate with individuals and groups
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple diverse departments
- Must be detail oriented, focus on nuances of multiple hospital operations, and be able to manage communication with employees and vendors
- Knowledge of the financial implications of decisions including budgeting and forecasting is required
- The ability to quickly be knowledgeable of legal, regulatory, ethical, managerial and organizational requirements, principles and standards for private sector hospitals
- Must be able to guide and direct hospital operations to ensure they are functioning in accordance with their respective missions
- Proficient use of computer systems and database administration required to operationally manage and report on clinical, ancillary and support operations
- Team player with a track record of maintaining positive employee relationships
İŞ TANIMI
- Organize and manage operations in the simplest, most efficient fashion with few layers of management, broad spans of control and limited managerial costs
- Facilitate development of a healthcare delivery system through integration and standardization of operations across programs and services throughout the IVF Center, as appropriate
- Act independently to provide crisis management, interpret policy, make timely decisions that directly impact patient care, ensure timely and effective communication and collaboration among departments, and provide operational oversight throughout the IVF Center
- Work effectively with the medical staff and provide them with support personnel, equipment and facilities required to carry out their responsibilities
- Review, improve, coordinate, implement and monitor processes to ensure the integration of strategic direction and operational goals
- Utilize both structure and process to make decisions, promote integration /collaboration, and achieve results
- Oversee patient care flow while redirecting and allocating resources. Determine necessary space, equipment, supplies and support systems to ensure effective functioning of unit/department.
- Investigate patient/visitor concerns and implements appropriate courses of action.
- Take corrective action in situations requiring immediate intervention, including interpretation and administration of hospital policy and work rules.
- Intervene and problem solves for inter-/intra-departmental issues. Facilitate interdepartmental communication, negotiation and decision-making.
- Obtain adequate facts and evaluates data to identify and intervene in actual and/or potential safety and risk management issues. Communicate pertinent information (verbal and/or electronic) in a timely manner to hospital administration and department leadership.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and standards
- Take an acute care operations view, focusing on quality and cost effective operations. Will have a service in line view, focusing on effectively supporting and integrating service lines into operations
- Maintain day-to-day, on-going relationships with the organized medical staff
- Support care management initiatives to enhance quality care and outcomes
- Identify opportunities, market needs and industry
- Maintain financial viability and enhance cost effectiveness of the IVF Center through review and analysis of financial, statistical and other reports and through preparation of annual budget for operating, capital and cash flow purpose, which provide for operational revenues and expenditures
- Work with IVF Center management to promote the understating, communication and integration of the organization's values, vision, strategies and mission
