QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
The Steelcord Operations in Izmit, Turkey are part of our Advanced Wire Products. To support our worldwide growth and leadership position, Bekaert has acquired 100% ownership of the Izmit activities in 2008. Bekaert wants to maintain and develop the Izmit plant as a world class manufacturing unit, with customers in Turkey and other countries mainly in Europe. The plant currently has about 400 employees. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager of the Steelcord Operations unit in Izmit , you will be based at this location.
- University degree in Electrical or Electrical/ Electronical Engineering
- Preferable with 2-3 years experience as Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Analytical thinking capabilities together with your hands-on approach
- Result oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Preferable having the certificate of high voltage installations management responsibility
- Utility, SAP PM knowledge and energy executive certificate will be an asset
- PLC knowledge
- PC literate
- Fluent in English
- Military service completed
İŞ TANIMI
- Tackle the complicated electrical breakdowns
- Execute preventive maintenanace operations
- Plan and implement periodic maintenance acitivities
- Ensure that projects are completed according to Bekaert standards and legal requirements with required quality, time and cost.
- Manage electrical maintenance staff and contractors
- Coach and train electrical maintenance staff
- Optimize spare parts consumption
