Plastic Injection Mold Engineer

• Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive/white goods sector,
• Fluent in English and  German speaking will be considered as an asset,
• Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD skills (Preferably UG NX),
• Experience at plastic injection molds (Plastic injection part design&process knowledge is an asset),
• Dynamic and highly motivated team player, experienced engineer with proven experience in project management,
• Highly developed ability to analyze and draw conclusions based on facts and target objectives,
• Willing to travel frequently to suppliers in İstanbul  / abroad in case of need,
• Result driven and able to break down complex tasks into manageable portions,
• Interpersonal communication skills which helps you to work with local and international teams.

İŞ TANIMI

• Support development at early phases of projects during mechanical part designs,
• Create mould manufacturing time plans in parallel with project time plans,
• Provide technical expertise for the mould maintenance technicians,
• Prepare mold specification documents and  support purchasing department to select the correct mould supplier depending on requirements,
• Participate design meetings plastic placements(supplier/inhouse) and go over mold design&mold flow simulations,
• Report status of projects and tpm activities for inhouse molds regularly,
• Follow up mould manufacturing phase, based on mold specification and project time line,
• Participate first shot tryouts and provide support/service until mould is handovered to serial production,
• Support suppliers (responsible for Inhouse) until part is released for serial production in terms of quality requirements(CAD data, technical drawings),
• Support purchasing to evaluate conditions (lifetime) of the moulds at suppliers and prepare inspection reports,
• Support purchasing department during conflicts with suppliers from technical aspect.
