QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

 Professional Expertise:

· Thorough understanding of general procurement practices and procedures and commercial law as well as category specifics in charge of
· University degree (preferably in business administration, finance, engineering, marketing & sales) or equivalent experience; 
Education in supply chain management would be advantageous
·2-3 years of experience in international business working in cross-functional teams
·3-5 years of work experience in procurement
·Proven experience of successfully negotiating complex, high-value projects
·Project management experience would be helpful
·Fluency in English (verbal and written), essential to cooperate with the (sub-)region; 
·Personal computer software application skills

    - ability to deal with ambiguous situations and different interests
    - ability to influence people sustainably 
· Good communication and coordination skills to manage relationships with country stakeholders and within corporate procurement

İŞ TANIMI

Function Objective:

. Achieve greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency for the category and ensure customer satisfaction. This embraces:
· Close cooperation with global sourcing to develop and implement best local procurement strategies
· Leading local category procurement processes
· Negotiations and contract management
· Identify and recommend ´best in class´ suppliers and maintain good relationships with them

Communicative Interfaces:
 
·         Within regional procurement (Proc. cluster organization)
·         Outside regional procurement:
            - Sub-region/area

            - Suppliers (international, local)

·         Participate in regional category teams (tbd)
·         Decision on category strategy for local led initiatives 
·         Seek agreement of relevant decision bodies

Tasks and Responsibilities:

-Take over and maintain thorough knowledge of relevant supply markets
-Establish close contact with business units to ensure actual knowledge of internal demand and service quality for sourcing activities during the replacement period
-Manage and achieve benefits in the category, ensuring transparency of costs to track benefits
-Deliver local defined category specific procurement strategies and initiatives
-Prepare and lead supplier negotiations 
-Support implementation and roll-out of corporate and regional contracts in cooperation with corporate and regional category managers
-Support supplier management according to corporate standards and provide feedback concerning suppliers to corporate category managers/head of procurement country/sub-region/ procurement manager
-Track category specific project progress and benefits and report according to corporate performance management requirements and tools
-Contribute to the cooperation between region/country sourcing

-Meet benefits targets, compliance ratio
-Standardized processes, sustainable cost reductions and improved quality, service and execution
-Meet savings targets, customer satisfaction with contracts 
-Supplier performance improvement
-% of actual benefits versus forecast by month
