• University degree or equivalent studies;
• Minimum 2 years experience in an IT related position, helpdesk support is considered as an advantage;
• Experience in the Port and Terminal industry is a plus;
• Experience with physical servers;
• Experience of LAN&WAN&VLAN;
• Hands on experience of Wireless security;
• Experience with AD, Exchange Server;
• Experience of Site-To_Site VPN;
• CCNA & CCNP (or equivalent) knowledge is a plus;
• Experienced using network monitoring Tools/Analysers;
• Experience of Data Centre network solutions;
• Experience with CISCO& Juniper implementations;
• Experience with data cabling &infrastructure;
• Firewall knowledge;
• Experience with Microsoft Client&Server operating systems;
• Familiar with ITIL practices, in particular change management;
• Giving support for all office technic equipment, handheld devices,access control system, security&operational cameras;
• Customer service experience;
• Good communication skills in English is a must;
• Must be willing to work in a team;
• Strong problem solving abilities and assertiveness;
• Motivation to learn and work in a service desk environment;
• Willingness to work on shifts;
• Strong problem diagnosis / troubleshooting skills;
• Good understanding of IP telephony.

İŞ TANIMI

• Determine and implement and maintain the optimum System & Networks required to run a high productivity fully automated container terminal;
• To provide 1st line technical support; answering support queries via phone, email,etc;
• Support must be provided in Turkish and English;
• To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles;
• To take ownership of user problems while following procedure and be proactive when support the client even in a crisis situation;
• Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice;
• To allocate more complex calls to the relevant 2nd level Support members;
• To give IT support to all users, customers and partners;
• Help System and network providers in the deployment of the System and networking solutions;
• Manage service level agreements with selected network providers and System support provider ensure their fulfillment to the best interest of Yarımca Container Terminal;
• To be an ambassador for the company at all times internally and externally;
• Comply with Fatal Risk Standards, Health & Safety Policy and safe working practices, ensure responsibility for safety and discipline in work area and report accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures.
