QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Company Description:
DP World Yarımca container terminal will be one of the biggest container terminals in Turkey with its 1.3 Million TEU capacity. The terminal will be 100% owned and developed by DP WORLD.
DP World Yarımca Container Terminal Co. is a subsidiary of DP World, the third largest global container terminal operator, managing more than 65 terminals across six continents. DP World has a dedicated, experienced and professional team of around 36,000 people serving its customers around the world, and the company constantly invests in terminal infrastructure, facilities and people to provide quality services today and tomorrow, when and where customers need them. DP World Yarımca, the state-of-the-art terminal will be equipped with super-post panamax quay cranes. Electrified Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (E-RTG) will be used for yard handling. We will be implementing the very latest technology in terminal operations with gate automation and asset management systems being used for centralised activity planning and equipment control.
Container handling is the company’s core business and generates more than three quarters of its revenue. In 2014, DP World handled 60 million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent container units). With its committed pipeline of developments and expansions, capacity is expected to rise to more than 100 million TEU by 2020, in line with market demand.

- 3rd or 4th year university students (Engineering Faculty is preferable);
- The suitable candidate will be assigned for minimum one month.
- Having an obligation to do an internship (mandatory by university);
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment;
- Strong in communication and analytical thinking skills;
- Eager to learn, hard-worker.
İŞ TANIMI
- Provides support to the related department in all processes;
- Assisting day to day acitivities;
- Takes active role in on-going business projects in related department;
- The candidates will be requested to provide a letter from their universities that the internship is mandatory.
