Factory Manager

Gates Hortum

• Mechanical Engineering degree
• 10 years prior experience in production management or equivalent relevant in a progressive company.
• Experience to operate in a TS16949 and ISO14001 environment.
• Experience in health and safety rules implementation in a facility and good understanding of local and global HS&E requirements
• Lean Manufacturing and 6 sigma experience are important assets.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
• Experience with a plant start-up is a plus.
• Rubber manufacturing and automotive or industrial supply experience is a plus.
• A proven leader able to motivate a large diverse group of people and build a team that functions well together.
• Must be a role model for predictable, ethical, trustworthy and reliable behavior.
• Good communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
• Ability to plan, organize and implement complex projects.
• Must be analytical and a good problem solver under high pressure situations.
• Challenges the status quo by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

İŞ TANIMI

• Position directly reports to Vice President Operations Europe.
• Supervises 7 white collars and is responsible for 60 employees on 3 shifts.
• Support capital expenditure projects
• Responsible for site maintenance, capital assets, raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory control and management.
• Represent company in all councils related to the operations and authority contacts.
• Lead and direct the Plant including the overall Hose Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Quality processes so that customer expectations are fulfilled with quality products that are manufactured in a safe and environmentally responsible manner within cost standards.
• Assure compliance with Local and Gates HS&E requirements
• Responsible to establish and deliver the annual business plan and financial plan for the Operations.
