Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in 'STEM' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Authorization on software development using Java Programming Languages
- Knowledge of Web application frameworks (Spring, Rich Faces, Prime Faces, Zend Framework, Ruby on Rails, Play etc.)
- Java 5 / 6 programming skill
- Experience building software with strong knowledge of Java, SQL, Javascript, JSF, JSP, JPA, OOD, software design patterns and principles
- Knowledge of J2EE
- Knowledge of Web Service, XML technologies (SOAP, JAXB, WSDL, XML)
- Knowledge of JUnit and Test Driven Development practices
- Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, XP)
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Accept feedback from mentors, leaders and learn in that process
- Encourages input from all members of the team
- High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with more senior co-workers and leadership with confidence and clarity

Essential Responsibilities

The successful candidate will;

- Be responsible for development / maintenance / enhancement of the internal GE Applications,
- Work with the business process stakeholders inside the company,
- Conduct analysis on the internal business processes, establish project objectives, process map existing processes, implement them and reassess progress against the requirements/expectations,
- Be located at GE Marmara Technology Center, Gebze - Kocaeli.
