Software Engineer - Continuous Integration / Core

The core software teams develop generic AirTies Software Platform that brings AirTies wireless products to life and supports application developments for various markets. Team members work across the organization, focusing on productization of the core software platform but also supporting application, integration and hardware R&D teams development. The role requires solid knowledge of software build and integration, as well as eagerness to workon automation of continuous integration and deployment systems, build & release tooling and test automation infrastructures. It is  an attractive opportunity to have a significant impact on whole software development lifecycle of the  products while working in a first-class team that demonstrates technological innovation, sophisticated software design and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Owning the build system and release process for platform and application software groups

• Architecting and implementing a continuous integration and release management system

• Development of open-source elements of CI systems both on backend & front-end

• Monitoring and troubleshooting of the CI systems including virtual machines

İŞ TANIMI

Required

• BSc in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience

• Good understanding of Git, Linux compilation, cross compilation & toolchains, Bash and Python scripting

• Experience standing up configuring, and optimizing servers.

• Basic knowledge of web application development and relational database

Nice to Have

• Experience in Linux environments,  Linux containers (e.g. Docker) , Jira , Buildbot, Gerrit

• Understanding of code branching/merging strategies and build release management

• Basic knowledge of code quality analysis tools; examples include code coverage, code duplication, cyclomatic complexity, dependency analysis, and coding standards

• Ability to work under time constraints with verbal & written instructions of varying levels of detail and changing requirements
