Cost Estimation Specialist

We are looking for “Cost Estimation Specialist” for our international company in energy field.
Candidates should have below conditions;

• Graduation degree in Electrical/Electronical Engineering or related areas
• Fluent English language (verbal and written)
• 2-3 years cost & technical experience (preferably at power plant construction)
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills; self-motivated and initiative taker
• No obstacle for traveling
• Pro-active approach, positive towards challenges
• Strong time management skills and prioritization skills
• Advanced user for AutoCad and MS Office applications

İŞ TANIMI

• To study technical design documentation and specifications, reaching full understanding with regard to the electric and electronical (if necessary, mechanical) sections
• Taking into consideration; the materials characterization, operating principles and methods for any items pertaining to the electric and electronical (if necessary, mechanical) scope and referred in the technical design documentation, to calculate the cost, if necessary, the alternative cost (considering cost and technical assessment in accordance with current applications for Turkey)
• When calculating the cost of relevant items and works described in the documentation, to take into account the unit prices, descriptions, definitions and analyses established by the official institutions of the Republic of Turkey
• For the purpose of investigating the current market prices by types of work, if necessary, to contact national or foreign producers, applicators or suppliers, to get price quotations and to review them in the context of cost calculation
• When calculating of the design cost, to conduct the required analysis of man-hours, machine-hours and materials to prepare for the cost-technical optimal conduct of works
• If necessary, to prepare cost estimation documentation for scopes, to monitor financial compliance with considering feasibility of design documentation
• To monitor financial and technical assessments before, during and after the tender procedure; upon request, to prepare necessary reports in this regard
• On request from the head of department who is a direct supervisor, to review price analysis prepared in relation to the needs of the other departments of the company, to give them financial and economic assessment
