QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Arup is one of the world top engineering and consultancy firms. We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer for our İstanbul Office to strengthen our Infrastructure Team.
· BSc in Environmental Engineering from reputable universities,
· 7+ years of professionalexperience, preferably in environmental planning for large scale infrastructure developments (railways, roads, bridges etc) and energy projects
· Proven experience in Environmental Consultancy, Environmental impact assessment, Social impact assessment, Environmental mitigation and Due Diligence
· Experience working with International Funding Agencies (World Bank, ADB, IFC, etc),
· Good knowledge of relevant Turkish regulations
· In-depth knowledge of international standards including IFC’s Sustainability Framework, the EBRD’s Environment and Social Policy, the EIB’s Statement of Environmental and Social Principles and Standards and the Equator Principles.
· Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
· Working experience in multinational and English speaking environment,
· Self-motivated, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
· Ability to liaise and communicate within integrated multidisciplinary teams,
· Effective communication and presentation skills,
· Strong planning and organization skills,
· Available to work flexible hours to catch the tight deadlines,
· No travel restrictions (national & international),
· Have a driver’s license,

İŞ TANIMI
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior leaders and project managers and will coordinate local and international environmental teams.
· Responsible for Environmental and Social projects being held in the company
· Preparing Environmental Due Diligence Studies, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Reports (ESIA), Gap Analysis, Compliance reports etc
· Supporting other departments and contribute for the environmental sections of their projects where needed
· Contributing bid preparation works
