CATEGORY&SUPPLY SUPERVISOR

• University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics or Statistics or equivalent studies
• Minimum of 5 years experience in  category management, planning and buying(preferably in one of Retail or FMCG)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Preferably experience in usage of a wide-ranged ERP
• Analytical skills, passion for working with numbers and reporting ability
• Proactive thinking and taking responsibility in problem solving
• Disciplined, detail-focused and result-oriented working style
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written)

İŞ TANIMI

We, as an international retail company, are looking for a Category&Supply Supervisor, who will be reporting to Category Manager. The incumbent will have the following responsibilities:

• Active role in supply and demand planning and purchasing for related category in the lead of company targets and sales results
• Follow, estimate and analyze sales results and competitors’ actions via regular and customized reports
• Plan the necessary actions  in order to reach the availabilty target during the year
• Involve in category building process via close follow-up of sales history and market trends for related category
• Involve in buying process and management of suppliers during negotiation, contracting process and service level follow-up
• Follow the the  production and arrival period on time with the suppliers and logistics department; evaluate the risks and inform the managers on time
• Lead the supply planning process from beginning to end; inventory management, making and/or controlling supply plans, orders, applying and following customs processes, planning and conducting warehouse and store replenishment for the category
• Estimate and analyze product availability in the stores and take necessary actions to improve the results
• Assist the stores in case of any problem or questions regarding the supply process
• Participate in or lead global, local or department projects for process improvement and when necessary
