QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 6 years experience as the technical lead of IT projects and 4 yearsexperience with complex problem solving techniques across multiple technologies and environments
  • Experience selling servers, storage hardware and networking.
  • Through understanding of one or more of the following areas: Application Virtualization, Server Virtualization and Networking / Storage / Platform performance and sizing
  • Direct professional experience with  ReadHat KVM, RedHat OpenStack and  VMware technologies
  • Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization.
  • Provides product / solution / services expertise in presales, including: solution positioning versus competition, technical and business value propositions, expected selling tactics by competition and recommended counter tactics, solution business value proposations developing financial justification for the solution
  • Advanced level of English
  • No limitation for domestic and foreign travels
  • B Class driving license
  • Living in İstanbul


İŞ TANIMI

BMR Turkey is looking for a “Technical Presales Engineer”. Technical Presales Engineer  is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customer's business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training and enablement.Technical Presales Engineer is a high impact, very prominent role responsible for establishing BMR as an innovative technical leader for enterprise and closing enterprise transactions within assigned territories.

Responsibilities
 
  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunuties within customer firms, ensures these leads are effectively covered and followed by the sales team
  • Respond to tickets in internal Helpdesk system, build proper system configurations and resolve tickets
  • Plans, deploys & performs POC's in BMR TechCenter and provides technical consulting via mail, conference calls and presentations to the customers
  • Plans testing of new products in BMR Tech Center and perform all necessary
  • Work with our expansive network of Value Added Reseller and writes clear, concise answers to technical questions for the reseller network
  • Provides training to customers when needed
  • Collaborates with the customer on development of a roadmap
  • Collects and prioritizes customer requirements with the customer and translates customer requirements into a solution blueprint that demonstrates the requirements can be satisfied
  • Reviewing new applications and technologies for conformance to existing architectures. 
  • Articulates alternatives in terms of cost, benefits and risk where multiple solutions exist
  • Provieds leadership in leading external and internal technical resources in pre-sales effort.
  • Assisting customers with evaluations and benchmarks system, storage, virtulization, cloud, business continunity, infrastructure technologies
  • Participates in account planning and supporting sales efforts
  • Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs

Preferred Candidate

More than 6 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Graduate)
Completed, Exempt
