QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in animal nutrition or related field
- Be recognized as a nutritionist in the industry with over 5 years track record in nutrition (preferably poultry)
- Business/Commercial savviness and customer solution focused mindset, with value selling experience
- Demonstrated proven success in development, application or leadership of applied nutrition to support business growth
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), intra & internet applications, and others
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Effective team player and shares knowledge willingly
- International Travel > 50%
- Fluent in English
- Able to work in multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in animal nutrition or other related field
- Strong project management skills
- International studies and/or working experience
- Nutrition modeling skills
- Fluent in one of the regional language (Arabic or Turkish).

İŞ TANIMI
Position Purpose & Summary:
The Nutritional Formulation Lead CAN MEA is responsible for managing all customer related formulation activities in the region (executed internal and/or by sales/technical teams). The customer formulation activities support our business in being trusted advisor on nutrition, creating the best offer to customers regarding nutritional solutions and are part of the key account teams. The person in this role is responsible to create strong connection with our key customers (box 1-4), continuously improve technical skills of the nutrition team and successfully implement new concepts to create value for customers and for the business. A strong customer focus and business oriented attitude is key.
Principal Accountabilities:
40% Trusted advisor in nutritional dialogue at customers / CFN
- Visit MEA key accounts (Aiden, Mila and Kobe box 1-4) to review current nutritional practices and make recommendations for improvements
- Create customized feed programs based on CAN knowledge
- Identify customer feed costs savings
- Identify opportunities for raw material usage / replacement / NPSS
- Evaluate CFN and customer feed production facilities and identify areas of improvement to gain efficiency
30% Leading the MEA nutrition team
- Ensure nutritional knowledge development of the nutrition and technology teams (poultry, ruminants)
- Identify opportunities for talent development
- Alignment on best nutritional practices throughout the MEA region
- Managing all customer related feed formulations in MEA region
- Ensure alignment with CAN Global SMT best nutritional practices
- Ensure smooth collaboration with operational formulation team
20% Implementation of CNS
- Training of MEA nutrition team
- Lead CNS implementation at customers
- Identify opportunities
- Close collaboration with global SMT CNS team
5% Customize global requirements for poultry and ruminants to MEA region, and update based on TAC and SMT/GIC input
5% Assess nutritional know how level of potential partners or inorganic growth opportunities
- Integrate new CAN MEA production locations to align with MEA Applied Nutrition practices.
