*Should have a hotel management background.
*Previous experience in a guest contact field for at least two years.
*Ability to work and communicate effectively with people of all cultures.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English, other languages will be an advantage.
*Should be aware of Micros,MS office & Triton and Fidelio
*Opening procedure, ensuring that the table top set up (flowers, candles, lamps and tent cards) is set according to the In Room Dining requirements.
*Ensuring that all table top items are clean and in good repair.
*Arranging all plan in line with reservation book and In Room Dining Manager requirements.
*Cleaning all related equipment
*Setting-up related equipment of In Room Dining according to the standards of D Hotel Maris.
*Greeting the guest in a friendly and courteous manner according to the standards of D Hotel Maris.
*Assisting with service as required by the In Room Dining Manager.
*Handling all telephone bookings and enquiries in accordance to the standards of D Hotel Maris
*Ensuring that the In Room Dining Manager and Assistant In Room Dining Manager are kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.
*During closing procedure ensure that all table top items are collected and cleaned as per the standards set by D Hotel Maris.
*Ensuring that all menus, drinks lists and guest collateral items are kept clean and undamaged according to the standards set by D Hotel Maris.
*Assisting In Room Dining Manager in maintaining all guest history records.
*Keeping uniform neat and clean and ensure personal grooming and hygiene is in line with standards set by D Hotel Maris
