Product Engineer

Daikin is looking for a passionate and creative "Product Engineer" to help improving our presence in the Applied (Commercial AC) market, with products ranging from FCUs,Chillers and AHUs.
 

• Bachelor's degree from Engineering Departments, preferably Mechanical Engineering 
• Min 1 year experience, preferably in HVAC Sector
• Good capability of MS Office applications
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Good capability of analytic and strategic approach
• Good capability of communication skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter and able to meet deadlines

İŞ TANIMI

Works with Senior Product Manager on the team to assure product line alignment with the larger product portfolio offering. Requires full understanding of product management techniques.

• Manages reporting process for sales, and other financial performance measures related to product lines
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to obtain highest impact to the business
• Assists in the development of tools required to effectively select and sell the products
• Assists in analysis of data to insure optimized price and user experience in the market
• Maintains a positive working relationship within a matrix organization, to ensure positive results to all aspects of the business, while supporting product initiatives
• Supports sales efforts in various distribution channels including development of training material
• Maintains strategic data for products within assigned portfolio, which includes size of the market served and total available market, key drivers, channels, and financial results
• Directs the preparation of technical and sales promotional literature and competitive analysis to support product sales, including Engineering Guides, Specifications, Case Studies and other material as needed.
• Maintains competitive files and keeps the field up-to-date on competition
• Participates on product development teams. As a team member, will prepare product development reports on assigned products and will be responsible for the follow-through on various assignments
• Assists in price review and analysis to insure the competitiveness of the product offering
• Coordinates Field visits for testing and training purposes.
