THE CANDIDATE:
 
The ideal candidate will need proven experience in delivering SEO strategies & leading successful SEO campaigns for medium to large-scale clients across a number of verticals.
 
Key Skills:
 
  1. Minimum 2 years experience, agency or in-house role 
  2. A good understanding of search engines, search engine optimisation and factors that influence rankings in search engines 
  3. Technical / development skills (ideal but not essential). Basic HTML knowledge, understanding of URL rewrites, how to setup and test for 301 redirects, duplicate content etc. 
  4. Strong knowledge of SEO trends and industry developments 
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  6. Experience of SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Screamingfrog, Searchmetrics, Deepcrawl, Brightedge)
  7. Web analytics (Google, Omnitrure, Coremetrics or equivalent) 
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate & inspire others 
  9. Fluency in English, both written and spoken

THE AIM OF THE ROLE
 
As SEO Consultant you will be responsible for the performance of our SEO campaigns. Your primary purpose is managing and delivering best in class content marketing, social (when applicable) and technical SEO strategies.
 
Our goal is to assist companies grow organically online through strategic inbound marketing and innovation. We have an ethical standpoint with SEO, focusing on revenue generated from organic, direct and social campaigns.
 
You will prioritise customer satisfaction through the delivery and communication of results in search marketing. Your creative flair and business understanding will compel you to innovate and create bespoke SEO solutions delivering real ROI and ultimately long term client retention.
 
REPORTING TO: SEO Manager
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  1. Deliver technical, social, link building, content development or bespoke consulting projects to agreed scope and within deadline 
  2. Manage on-going link building / SEO and content development campaigns 
  3. Deal with daily or ad-hoc requests from clients for information about their campaigns and ensure reporting demonstrates our consultative approach to our client’s performance 
  4. Build and maintain an understanding of the clients business and priorities
  5. Maintain frequent contact with clients and be transparent about your activities and project plan progress 
  6. Keep up to date with the latest developments in search engine optimisation 
  7. Spread our reach inside the client’s business by gaining and maintaining content with line managers and online marketing teams 
  8. Previous experience with PPC (Google AdWords) will be advantageous but not essential.
