QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an international utility services company. Now we are looking for a Finance and Administration Manager who will set-up the organization and the implementation of the financial and administrative policies and the overall good process e of accounting books and systems.
 
·         University degree qualified in an appropriate and acceptable discipline with demonstrated experience in managerial or supervisory positions relating to Operations will be highly regarded;
·         5 years of experience as Financial Manager in an international company based in Turkey, developing both local and international knowledge of Finance standards and practices
·         Significant managerial experience and track record as a highly-motivated self-starter managing Financial delivery;
·         Fluently English spoken and written;
·         Demonstrable leadership, creativity and lateral thinking skills particularly with respect to developing operational plans, service agreements and contractual relationships;
·         Ability to work under pressure and within defined time lines, as both a Manager and independently, developing a reputation for honesty and sincerity in customer relationships;
·         Ability to recommend, implement and maintain best practice managerial and administrative standards in areas such as Financial management;
·         High level of organisational ability and communication skills with capacity to handle a wide variety of contacts with diplomacy, tact and commercial acumen;
·         High level, professional oral & written presentation skills;
·         Well-developed skill and proficiency in networked computer operations, as well as PC based word processing and spreadsheets.

İŞ TANIMI

The person will report to General Manager and will be responsible for;
·         Supervising and controlling the establishment of the company’s accounts (monthly financial management accounts, mid-year as well as annual financial statements); this involves namely supervision of the accounting firm in charge of tax declarations
·         Ensure that appropriate controls are in place and adhere to especially the completeness and accuracy of billings, cash and bank reconciliation
·         Establishment of projects forecast, company annual budget, two estimated budget reviews per annum, yearly update of the 5-year midterm plan
·         Analysis of financial performance against budget of the projects
·         Cash forecasting and management according to the weekly, monthly and annual Cash Plan
·         Preparation of audit information in relation with external auditors
·         Manage external relationships: auditors, banks, stakeholders, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.
·         Manage administrative process as catering, cleaning, transportation, phones, etc
·         Manage the purchasing process
·         Manage all insurance and Accidents/Repairs folders
·         Ensure that all procedures related with Finance, Administrative and Purchasing are updated and in line with operation and maintenance contract and regulations
·         Liaising with HQ for internal reporting process, according to the defined formats
·         As direct support to management, providing financial management and cost analysis for commercial decision making, providing creative and effective costing solutions on opportunities to maximize profitability and identifying key commercial and financial risks and opportunities
·         Comply with the relevant procedures, Turkish standards and directives within the Finance & Account domains
·         Legal follow up: Board Resolutions, corporate documents, contract management, Performance Bond updates, etc
·         Management of Financial & Administrative issues in relation with the Concessionaire
·         Act as a substitute for Account Officer, Purchase & Administrative Officer when necessary.
