QUANTITATIVE ANALYST LONG-TERM INTERN

We are looking for a QUANTITATIVE ANALYST LONG-TERM INTERN to join our growing organization.

• Quantitative analysis and modelling experience in XPRESS and GAMS, ideally including R, MATLAB, PYHTON, SQL
• Master Student in Engineering, ideally in Industrial or Financial Engineering
• Experience in setting up and solving optimization problems (LP, MILP etc.) in XPRESS or GAMS and implementation experience (e.g., in university term projects)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Works well in a team environment, focusing on collaboration and adapting to the needs of a diverse team
• No military obligations for male candidates

• Building fundamental market models (merit order curves)
• Setting up asset optimization models
• Setting up statistical and quantitative models
• Pricing energy derivatives (options, swaps etc.)
• Building hourly demand models
• Modeling and implementation up forward curves and hourly price forward curves
• Setting up volatility and @risk models
• Implementation and automation of developed models and algorithms in SQL and internal systems
