We are seeking for a high performing “Valuation & Business Modelling Manager”to join our growing Corporate Finance – Valuation & Business Modelling team with the following qualifications;

• Strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field
• Approximately six – eight years’ of related work experience in an investment bank, corporate finance house, strategic planning/business development departments of companies
• Experience of types of modelling such as economic modelling other than financial modelling would also be an advantage, but is not essential
• An MBA,CPA, CFA or other recognized professional qualification is desirable
• A good understanding of valuation methods such as DCF, comparable companies and transactions
• A sound grasp of IFRS or other relevant GAAP
• Highly numerate with a natural interest in Excel and strong experience in financial modelling; for example, in the fields of acquisitions, refinancing, project finance (including PFI/PPP) or other corporate finance transactions
• Strong quantitative skills and an analytical approach
• Independent model review and testing skills
• Ability to work with model users to identify their particular needs, to design , specifyand implement appropriate solutions to address those needs
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable organization and self-management skills
• English language skills (excellent written and verbal communication)
• Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic

İŞ TANIMI

V&BM Manager is responsible for undertaking and managing valuation and business modelling assignmentsin compliance with organization’s policies and procedures, supervising the project team, providing guidancein the production of written file notes, letters, presentations and reports, formulating views on value and consulting with senior managers, directors and partners bypresenting conclusions.

V&BM Manager role is active in specifying, designing and building intermediate/complex business models by performing detailed reviews of financial models with little or no supervision and supervising the team working on the review. This role is also active in establishing, maintaining and strengthening internal and external relationships, and make sure that work delivered to the client is of high quality, anticipating and identifying risks on the assignment and dealing with them appropriately. In addition, V&BM Manager is assist in the development and marketing of new products and solutions, and builds relationships with external clients and within the firm.
As an influential member of the team, V&BM Manager helps to create a positive learning culture, coaches and counsels junior team members to help them develop. One of the key responsibilities of a V&BM Manager is to provide feedback to junior team members in order to help them develop business valuation skills and experience of performing valuations to the required standard.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex business valuation, intangible asset valuation and business modeling engagements
• Understanding of the client’s issues and establish the context in which the valuation is required
• Participate in and help manage valuation and modelling engagements, including financial aspects
• Set and agree budgets and produce project plans and progress reports, keeping senior staff on the assignment informed of status
• Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
• Help assist directors in achieving target fees by assisting in product and proposal development and other selling initiatives
• Achieve target utilization
• Participate in business development initiatives
• Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to junior staff
• Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training business modelling professionals
• Determine own learning and career development objectives, agree and manage own development plan
• Build strong internal relationships with members of the V&BM team and other EY services
