Vehicle Testing Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 - Plan, execute, manage & prepare test report of Vehicle Testing & Instrumentation activities to support program analytical gateways/issue resolutions (Durability, Thermodynamic & Aerodynamic Measurements Instrumentation, Brake Homologation, custom Instrumentation etc.)
 - Manage total instrumentation phase & execute data acquisition as well as the coordination within the working environment in support of Test & Development Plan and test methods for all Product Development programs.    
 - Discuss the instrumentation locations, sensors (strain gages, accelerometers, displacement sensors, thermocouples etc.) and test method with the test requestor
 - Plan the instrumentation and test execution processes & durations as well as workshop coordination
 - Ensure the instrumentation is done as requested, collects sample data to check sensors and data acquisition device is working properly
 - Ensure vehicle is prepared according to intended test specifications. (i.e upperbody, loadings, sign offs)
 - Responsible from the execution of correct test manoeuvre and data reliability (Data without anomalies)
 - Prepares a test report including test method description, objective data output, analysis and outcome as well as visual (photo-camera recordings etc.) evidence
 - Determines the cost items and gives feedback to Attribute/Program (project) teams
- Tracks equipment’s maintenance & calibrations periodically
 - Investigate new test opportunities, technologies and methods towards data acquisition and prepare investment feasibility/launch
 - Leads a group of Field Testing Technicians including training activities
 - Runs testing work stream by cost center business model
 - Supports Heavy Commercial Vehicle unique Requirements and DNA development

İŞ TANIMI

REQUIREMENTS:
 - Fundamental knowledge of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Brake Systems
 - Mechatronics, Automotive and Mechanical Engineers from
 - Previous experience on data acquisition systems & sensors (IPETRONIK, LMS, HBM nCode, IMC Data Acquisition Systems, Displacement transducers, thermocouples, pressure sensors etc.) is a major asset yet not a must
 - Knowledge of vehicle systems/function
 - Knowledge of problem solving methods
 - Strong communication skills
 - Efficient persuasive ability
