Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for high standards of financial reporting and accounting compliance for Honeywell Turkey and will closely work with Country Controller.

This role will also include some responsibilities related to internal control monitoring activities and US GAAP oversight of Honeywell in Turkey and reports to the Country Controller. 

In addition, he/ she will play a key role in Tax, Treasury, Legal and External/Internal Auditors. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all areas of financial compliance,
• Preparation and maintenance of account reconciliations, both balance sheet and P&L,
• Oversee monthly accounting close process,
• Prepare some complex journal entries and review journal entries prepared by team members,
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial/management statements and variance reports to plan/forecast in accordance with management deadlines,
• Preparation year end audit process,
• Provide technical accounting guidance on long term contracts and transactions,
• Work closely with sworn and independent audit company team members,
• Work closely with Finance Share Services (Technical accounting, banking, back office and business finance team),
• Work closely with Tax Service Company.



• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration (concentration in Accounting),

• Experience with Global Corporations, US GAAP and Turkish GAAP,

• Extensive knowledge of Turkish direct and indirect taxes (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax and Stamp Tax Regulation),

• Strong analytical and accounting skills,

• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook,

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAP software packages for both general ledger and FI module,

• Fluent English speaker,

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company,

• Professional audit experience will be preferred,
