Production Engineer

Kordsa Teknik Tekstil A.Ş.

• B.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering,
• New graduate or 1-2 years of professional experience in related field,
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma, Kaizen, Lean and/or TPM activities is preferred, 
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs,
• Strong communication skills, team worker as well as a team leader,
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic,
• Ability to work with cross functional teams,
• No restriction to travel / stay abroad,
• Will be located in Izmit.

İŞ TANIMI

• Ensuring the performing of nylon yarn production process with desired performance and quality,  
• Tracing performance on safety, quality, production level and looking for opportunities for further development projects,
• Ensuring process and equipment reliability,
• Leading project and improvement teams in the scope of continuous improvement activities,
• Coordinating the work activities in the related mechanical shops,
• Performing safety activities like PHA (Process Hazard Analysis), HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis),
• Maintaining lean manufacturing activities like 5S, Kaizen, SMED,
• Directing TPM activities for better OEE, waste and downtime performance,
• Cooperation and coordination of solution partners like engineering companies/sub-contractors for project ramp up and implementation phases,
• Feasibility, make or buy analysis and presentation of projects to top management,
• Managing technical relationship with other plants of Kordsa and main raw material suppliers of Izmit plant,
• Giving technical support and training to other sites of Kordsa.
