The KPMG’s Sustainability practice helps clients to integrate sustainability into their core business. This includes our opinion to transparent and reliable reporting on sustainability performance.
We face the challenge of 2050, 9 billion people desiring a decent life within the limits of one planet. This leads to many changes at companies, governments and consumers. Numerous issues are coming up, including in the areas of strategy and policy, implementation and external accountability. KPMG’s Sustainability practice supports and advises its clients in these critical area and is a global leader in this field. The world around sustainability is constantly changing and we are responding by continuing to develop our ideas and to continue to attract new colleagues. 
More and more companies and governments are aiming to operate more sustainably, develop new market opportunities and take responsibility for how they operate. The sustainability awareness grows firmly and with it the demand for KPMG’s services. In our Assurance projects, we help companies to the next level of transparency, we provide internal improvement ideas and opportunities that put customers ahead in the field of sustainability. Due to the growing market demand, we are looking for new colleagues.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities for an excellent career and leadership opportunity in the provision of climate change and sustainability assurance and advisory areas, at the Manager level.
 

• Take a lead role in developing our Sustainability practice in Turkey by also integrating our Office to the rest of KPMG’s Sustainability global network
• Develop/maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers to communicate value and inform them of the firm's scope of services.
• Provide guidance/expertise in the delivery of our climate change and sustainability auditing and advisory services, with an emphasis on complex and/or specialized issues related to sustainable development, sustainability and climate change
• Working in a team environment, provide sustainability advisory and assurance services including regulatory verification of greenhouse gas reporting, assist clients in their efforts to identify, measure and appropriately manage the business and reporting risks that they face as they transition their organizations to respond to changing regulations, trends and the evolution of sustainability and sustainable development domestically and globally.
• Identify/communicate trends, developments, and key performance drivers relevant to the client. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's industry and marketplace.
• Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
• Successfully delegate to all levels of staff.
• Conduct performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to performance feedback/training. Foster teamwork and lead by example.
• Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
• Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams.
• Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
• Actively contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the Climate Change and
• Sustainability Services practice by taking operational responsibility and accountability for engagements and delivery teams.
• Support client relationships, business development and account management leadership.
• Represent the practice in management forums and support the rapid, profitable growth of the business as a member of the management team

İŞ TANIMI

To qualify for this highly visible position with excellent potential for career advancement, candidates must have:

• Professional presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise
• Strong familiarity and hands-on Experience with various sustainability related regulations and standards that include Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI),ISAE 3000, ISAE 3410,AA1000AS, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol and Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI)
• Ability to analyze complex or unusual issues in the context of client engagements and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions
• Ability to take a pragmatic approach to issues that underpin client relationships while demonstrating and living the firm's values
• A graduate degree in engineering, environmental science and/or other appropriate academic major
• More than 5 years of experience in a position related to sustainability with a consulting practice or particular business/industry experience
• Strong project management skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• A dedication to teamwork and leadership
• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety would be an asset
• Experience in sustainability strategy development would be an important asset
• Out-of-town travel, either domestically or internationally, is also required at least 30% of the time, on average.
