QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Education and qualifications
· Minimum 5years demand planning experience in multi-national environment
· Master degree in Supply Chain or related field and/or equivalent experience
· Good understanding of business to business marketing & sales processes
· Strong communication skills and ability to challenge commercial account managers
· Experience with process design and continuous improvement in Sales (forecast accuracy and sales funnel management)
· Ideal candidate will have experience in demand planning tools: scenario building, easy validation and correction options (either in system and/or business intelligence tools)
· Strong leadership and communication skills
İŞ TANIMI
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
· Develop statistical forecast models and Demand Forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation, and for multiple time periods.
· Lead Demand Planning monthly meetings with Commercial Sales to review historic sales trends, understand demand forecast drivers, and confirm current market conditions.Execute the Demand Planning process within the new S&OP
· Achieve a consensus on demand plan by facilitating a collaborative planning process with Commercial Sales, Inventory Planning, and Production Operations.
· Provide input data to Production Operations planning and Inventory Management planning to allow for effective strategies on production and inventory controls.
· Evaluate forecast results, reconcile significant variances, and refine forecast models to reflect updated sales data and assumptions.
· Use and maintain the Group’s Demand Planning software tool, “DynaSys”, and act as project stakeholder to integrate demand date into local ERPs (including SAP)
· Prepare and maintain reports relevant to the demand planning process.
· Participate with other business units to assist in preparing Budgets
· Communicate with central demand planner on resulting forecast
o Provide a detailed explanation on trends as reported (monthly forecast review)
o Provide a continuous follow up about events happening on the market that may have significant impact on sale figures : new contracts, new customers, new product launches, status on product registration/approval
· Collaborate with group S&OP department to develop and implement a specific process to MECA region to share concensus demand data with various supply points
· Implement the new process to ensure all stakeholders have clear understanding of new responsibilities while minimizing transitional difficulties.
· Periodic review of the new process to ensure it continues to efficiently meet all the needs of all stakeholders.
