QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Turkish languages.
  • Demonstrates a high standard of verbal communication, social skills and up-selling skills.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year’ experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment.
  • Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to set up and maintain food and beverage items in accordance with MOHG standards and HACCP, to ensure guest satisfaction.


İŞ TANIMI

  • Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times
  • Wears designated uniform which are well pressed and in a good state of repair
  • To ensure that the Fire Life Health Safety and Security company standards and HACCP Standards are maintained and carried out.
  • To be fully informed and aware about all information concerning Food and Beverage outlets and hotel facilities of Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum
  • Maintains a good knowledge of all hotel facilities and is able to answer guest questions in a quick, polite and helpful manner
  • Handles guest complaints or problems promptly, ensuring that any resolved / unresolved incidents are reported to the manager in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates security conscious behaviours in respect of guests, colleagues and hotel property / welfare and reports suspicious circumstances to the manager
  • Attends meetings and training sessions that may be beneficial personally or to the operation.
  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars and Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Assist Guest courteously and efficiently.
  • Set up tables/ dining trolleys as per the standard.
  • Communicate with Kitchen for any guests’ special request and dietary requirements.
  • To prepare mise en place as required in their dining venue.
  • To maintain the back of the house clean, neat, tidy and safe.
  • Continuously monitor his/her section for maximum guest’s satisfaction.
  • To deliver the correct order to the table room or residence.
  • To carry out daily, weekly and monthly inventory.
  • Clear tables between courses throughout the meal.
  • To wish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming.

Preferred Candidate

Less than 10 years of experience
High School(Graduate), Associate Degree(Student), Associate Degree(Graduate), Bachelor’s(Student), Bachelor’s(Graduate)
English(Reading : Good, Writing : Good, Speaking : Good)
