REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum C Class Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security
• Strong skills in Health, Safety and Environment with at least 2 years of experience in engineering projects.
• Experience and knowledge in Wind Energy projects is a plus.
• Knowledge in ISO14001, ISO45001, OHSAS18001 standards and other Q-HSE related management systems and legislation.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 is a plus.
• IOSH, OSHA and NEBOSH certification is a plus.
• Good MS Office skills particularly in Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Good skills in reporting.
• Good Command of English in terms of written and verbal.(English is a must).
• Additional language is a plus.
• Availability for travelling, and working out of hometown if/when required.
• Good skills in communication with all level stakeholders.
• Comfortable with flexible working hours.
• Being solution oriented and proactive.
• Military service completed for male candidates.

JOB DISCRIPTION

• Leading and supporting the creation and improvement of Q-HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Planning, coordinating and implementing of all related Q-HSE policies, guidelines and procedures on site and tracking executions and operations.
• Travelling between wind farm project sites among and out of Turkey and monitoring installation and maintenance activities on site.
• Preparing and improving risk assessments and taking required action to mitigate the risks accordingly.
• Inspect sites, machinery and safety equipment to identify and mitigate the potential hazards and to ensure Q-HSE regulation compliance.
• Providing required support for Quality Management.
• Follow and communicate the developments on Q-HSE Legislation.
• Reporting all the Q-HSE related issues among the organization as well as submitting to the customer.
• Follow up of all Q-HSE related issues with the site representatives, and ensure taking corrective and preventive actions.
• Leading the continuous improvement among the organization in terms of HSE and Quality.
• Leading the incident investigation and root-cause analysis after any incident happened.
• Preparing the lessons learnt and safety alert documentation and distribute to all related persons.
• Conducting local and international communication with clients for Q-HSE subjects.
• Planning Q-HSE training program and conduct trainings for employee in areas such as Q-HSE laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring and use of safety equipment.
• Managing safety statistics and improvement plan, reporting track and provide regular Q-HSE performance reporting to internal and external parties
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
