QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Fluent in Turkish and English language – written and spoken
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Pro-active
  • Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
  • Good computer skills (excel / word/ power point, adobe reader)
  • Good administration & organizational skills
Very high attention to detail and accuracy
 
  • Min 4 years of experience across in clothing industry with various product types including knit, jersey& woven
  • Have a general working knowledge of printing techniques, appliqué and embroidery applications
  • Have a general knowledge at wash & finishing processes to manage critical path stages and set accurate critical deadlines for suppliers
  • Good experience in critical path management


 

İŞ TANIMI

  • Be responsible for all production orders shipped out of the factories with respect to quality, delivery time and the requried stds.
  • Detailed order status / review through cp management to review agreed dates and monitor progress with team memebers and report back to HO
  • Place orders with vendors inline with the buying  calender negotiating the best dates with suppliers .
  • Proactively manage order progress using the cp , visit to factories , processing centres, mills, trims suppliers and report back to HO.
  • Negotiate discounts and airfreigt penalties where needed to ensure on time delivery.
  • Manage supplier performance through effective monitoring, training and communication.
  • Liaise with logistics dept internally and with the vendors to make sure all shipments are booked on time and shipments sent accordingly.
  • Prempt any production issue well in advance and flag any risks to the concerned parties and superiors to take corrective action on time.
  • Work closely with the QC team to make sure the right goods are inspected and shipped on time .
  • Manage sample checking including pp and shipment samples making sure all samples are correct before shipment are made.
  • Responsible for organising all test reports , inspection reports on all production orders and getting them approved by UK HO.
  • Keep organised record of status / approvals/ reports to make sure any order can be traced back efficiently and any approval given backed up.
