Job Description:

We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Required Skills:

- 2+ years experience in software testing

- Good knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) as an Quality Assurance Tester

- Understanding and Analyzing Test Requirements.

- Experience in creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test scenarios Experience

- Familiar with Defect Tracking & Bug Reporting

- Intermediate SQL knowledge

- Good Troubleshooting, Analytical, Communication and Client Interfacing skills

- Postman or Soapui skills and JIRA knowledge

- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies

- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

Responsibilities:

- Reporting and documenting technical issues to appropriate technical teams

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

- Execute manual test cases and analyze results

- Report bugs and errors to development teams to appropriate technical teams

- Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Nice To Have:

- Experience with Test Automation and Performance Testing

- Life or retirement insurance domain experience

- Unix knowledge

- AS400 skills
