• At least 5 years experience about supply chain processes (manufacturing, demand planning, logistics or Customer services)

• Advanced SAP knowledge and Excel skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

pladis, the home of Ülker, McVities and Godiva are seeking a “Demand Planning Executive” to join pladis Turkey Supply Chain Vice Presidency Organization.

A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below.

• Improve the accuracy and reliability of the Demand Plan through projection of the most accurate sales forecasts and manage exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the organisation's Supply Chain in fulfilling customer demand.
• Lead and increase the effectiveness of S&OP (Sales&Operation Planning) cycle  
• Collect and validate sales forecasts for 3 months horizon,
• Prepare demand plans according to targeted inventory levels,
• Lead monthly supply reconciliation meetings and prepare monthly business review presentations.
• Consistently improve Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning processes and tools to deliver benefits.
• Capture and prioritize external / internal trends and influences, which impact demand plan.
• Manage exceptional demand and supply issues, such as unrealistic demand, material shortage, etc.
• React fast, take appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan. Communicate these actions to stakeholders.
• To help ensure commitment from all functions, build and maintain good communication and collaboration both within Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing
• Influence Generating Demand by providing input on a regular basis regarding product launches, portfolio optimization, rationale of commercial decisions, promotions and customer behavior.
• Ensuring the weekly phase in / phase out process is adhere to.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels with minimum stock outs  
• Contribute to the customer service levels aligned with targets.
