QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Fluent in Turkish and English language – written and spoken (confident in phone and email manner in English)
  • Good communication skills
  • Perfect reporting and computer  skills.Especially Excel in Vlookup applications.
  • Pro-active
  • Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills (good level of Excel is must / Word/ Power Point, Adobe Reader)
  • Very high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Key ---- analytical thinking, high attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work under stress& pressure, , pro-active, ability to generate solutions, systematical working, Ability to organize and prioritize workload
    empathy, clear  communication and  Good communicator at all levels.
    Analytical background – capable of planning production & shipment stages by combining her/his computing skills and experience
  • Min 5 years of experience across in clothing industry with various product types including knit, jersey& woven
  • Have a general working knowledge of printing techniques, appliqué and embroidery applications
  • Have a general knowledge at wash & finishing processes to manage critical path stages and set accurate critical deadlines for suppliers
  • High knowledge and advanced  experience in critical path management


İŞ TANIMI

This position mainly concentrates on critical path management through out production which involves various Excel reporting and web based applications.

Production CP management -----

1.Lead and manage merchandising team  in every angle of the business required for the position 
2.Work with the merchandising team and   Vendors closely to achieve business targets.
3.Work with the merchandising team to set key areas of focus which are  in line with the company goals.
4.Follow product from order placement stage  until shipment is completed with all aspects of the production based on critical path.
  • Follow up a CP (Critical Path) in order to achieve on time delivery in full quantity,

  • Keep CP (critical path) updated at all time by communicating with suppliers, Setting up face to face meetings, detect issues & possible risks and bring solutions to avoid delays,
  • Target to achieve on time delivery with full qnty , set goals to related parties accordıngly
  • Shortage management is key and requires close relation with suppliers/factories
  • Fabric booking  is also under this position responsibility at order placement stage
2.Work with Quality Team closely to manage critical path deadlines for the AQL processes following  on rejected products.Make sure that Merchandiing and Quality team work closely to solve the issues on time and with full accuracy.

3.Work with other Merchandisers within the Team  to manage joint responsibilities or/ and projects.

System usage and Reporting
Use indicated systems, programs in order to generate requested reports on daily, weekly, monthly bases such as shipment lists, delivery lists, projection lists, order lists, warehouse delivery and AQL lists etc, actıon /create necessary sheets/charts/ reports in order to follow up the production better and feedback clear data to superiors.
Keep record of KPIs( Key Performance Indicator) for Vendors,Merchandising Team and  delivery performance and evaluate  report to superiors.


 Capacity & Order Placement ----
1.
Do the capacity planning in suppliers in terms of order placement and fabric bookings in line with business expectations.
2.Work with Head Office and  vendors to book seasonal fabric commitments.

3.Follow up capacity planning in suppliers and manage it on monthly/ seasonal bases, make sure that order placement is done accordıng to the capacities, find solutions for pick seasons by working with suppliers.
4.Manage Order placement  -- work with the suppliers/factories to place season volumes accordıng to the supplier capacities, capability,  servıce level agreement(SLA) etc. by considering targeted delivery windows  across all suppliers with the Merchandising Team.
