Human Resources Officer

We are currently looking to recruit an Human Resources Officer who will provide functional support while ensuring a high level of internal customer satisfaction and service to academic staff. S/he will report to the HR Manager and be based in Tuzla Campus.

The successful candidates will have the relevant skills and experience specified below:
·         Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
·         3-4 years of experience, preferably in HR
·         Excellent command of written and spoken English
·         Knowledge of and/or experience in payroll is preferred
·         Knowledge of Turkish Labor Law is an asset
·         Proficient in MS Office programs
·         Previous knowledge of and/or experience in SAP-HR is preferred
·         No military obligation for male candidates
·         Strong documentation, organization, and collaboration skills
·         Good interpersonal and communication skills
·         Attention to detail
·         Strong problem-solving & multi-tasking skills
·         Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
·         Good team player

The job responsibilities include:
·         Provides support to employment processes of academic staff
·         Executes effective workforce administration (i.e. onboarding, offboarding, changes throughout the employee lifecycle, etc.)
·         Assists with employee benefits programs, including collecting and tracking paperwork
·         Creates, sends, and monitors return of HR documents issued to employees 
·         Prepares contracts of employment of permanent/temporary academic staff
·         Enters personnel data in SAP-HR
·         Produces and formats reports (e.g. regular, ad-hoc, etc.)
·         Liaises with other deparments in the organization
