is looking for an
“Design Engineers”

and offering them the opportunity to work with state-of-art technologies and applications, specializing in aircraft and industrial engine repair processes, in a technology base located in Gebze, Kocaeli which is being established by TEI - Tusaş Engine Industries, Inc. and General Electric Aviation, GE MTC (General Electric Marmara Technology Center)

The candidates are expected to have most of the skills, competencies and experience stated below:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering,
  • Solid Background in Mechanics of Materials,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English,
  • Proven self-starter and independent worker who can work with and/or lead cross-functional teams,
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable a learning approach to problem resolution,
  • Ability to perform multi-task assignments effectively,
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • Master degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering,
  • Experience in Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS or other commercial FEA software,
  • Preferably experience in areas such as aviation, gas turbine or internal combustion engine design and analysis,
  • Familiarity with CAD software (Unigraphics or other commercial CAD software),
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing and Inspection Processes (milling, turning, welding, braze etc.),
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Concepts.


The responsibilities for this position include:
  • With the guidance of experienced engineers, provide design ownership for assigned engine hardware including the engineering support of manufacturing and field issues as well as the technical interface with other functions.
  • Provide Material Review Board (MRB) engineering (Nonconformance enginering) support for General Electric engine parts.
  • Conduct Engineering calculations according to the GE Design Practices in support of engine certifications and qualifications, design optimization to meet life goals, failure investigations and test capability assessment of engine hardware for both spin pit and factory engine tests.
  • Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through out the assigned projects or tasks, prepare and present technical data to internal and external GE Aviation customers. 
  • Document technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
