• At least bachelor degree in English Literature and Language or any related field.
• Minimum 2-year experience in a related field
• Prior knowledge of children and youth educational methodologies and instructional techniques is an asset
• Prior experience in working the children, youth, and refugees is an asset.
• Strong (self-) organizational and interpersonal skills, works well in multi-disciplinary team, high level of flexibility required
• Good knowledge and understanding of Humanitarian Principles and Protection frameworks, tools, and minimum standards.
• Excellent spoken and written skills in English.
• Computer literacy (word, excel, outlook and Internet)

English Language Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

•  Providing English language trainings to Syrian and Turkish children and youth by using RET curriculum.  
•  Prepare syllabus and schedule in accordance with RET curriculum in coordination with Centre Supervisor.
•  Ensure completion of the courses on time
•  Monitor and follow up attendance sheets and all other documents of beneficiaries and submit them to the Centre Admin Assistant.
•  Enrich and develop course content by using creative interactive teaching methods and extra-curricular activities.
• Implement and follow up placement and final tests

Contract length: 15 months
