QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a team member to join our Sales Team as Sales Representative. Torun is a continuously growing company located in Gebze OSB, manufacturing OEM brass parts, mainly for European and US market and is among first 500 exporters of Turkey.
- Bachelor degree in engineering (prefebably in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Industrial engineering)
- Fluency in English is a must. German will be an asset
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project sales or sales engineering positions, preferably in companies operating in forging and machining of metal items.
- Good command of MS Office applications,
- Compatible team player,
- Superior communication skills,
- Proactive and professionally presented person,
- No obstacle for traveling abroad,
- No military obligation,
- B Class driving license,
- Living in Anatolian Side of Istanbul or Kocaeli (İzmit, Gebze, Darıca)
İŞ TANIMI
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.
- Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinates sales effort with planning, accounting, logistics and technical departments.
- Analyzes the market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization.
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new businesses.
- Keeps himself updated about market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of literature and consulting with all stakeholders.
- Participates in fairs.
- Reporting directly to Sales Manager.
