HSE Manager

We, as UET, are looking for an “HSE Manager” with the qualifications listed below for our Project, located in İliç-ERZİNCAN, TURKEY.
 
The candidate should have;
 

·         Bachelor degree in Engineering Departments (preferably in Mechanical Engineering)

·         Knowledge on ISO-based management systems (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001)

·         Min. 7 years of HSE experience especially in industrial projects;

·         Fluent English written and spoken (at least “upper intermediate” level)

·         Good IT skills in MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);

·         Systematic and persistent self-starter able to work under limited supervision to meet targets

·         Cooperative, communicative, open-minded and flexible – also with respect for other people and other cultures.

İŞ TANIMI

·         Report directly to Project Manager

·         Preparation of HSE documentation (Plans, Procedures and Risk Assessments (WRAC, JSEA) for the activities etc.)

·         Monitor compliance with the Project HSE Plan and procedures and, conduct regular HSE audits and prepare detailed reports of site performance including subcotractors

·         Evaluate potential hazards on new types of equipment or processes and assist in the preparation and implementation of new policies and procedures

·         Highlight HSE issues, make recommendations and/or issue instructions (based on reports, audits and accident analysis), which will be implemented in order that HSE performance may be enhanced

·         Continuously be aware of changing site conditions

·         Be aware of any dangerous substances in use at the site, and, be aware of actions required in case of contact with dangerous substances

·         Monitor the site and report environmental violations or unsafe working conditions immediately to Project Management, where necessary

·         Collate and analyze all accident, incident and near miss reports and other environmental issues

·         Examine trends and propose actions to prevent recurrence of environmental incidents, accidents & near misses

·         Maintenance of database entries and follow-up on incidents, observations and NCRs related to HSE

·         Establish a working relationship with supervisors and foremen and where appropriate consult with them on aspects of HSE

·         Where appropriate, identify, in conjunction with the Project Management, any necessary HSE training and if required assist with the development of a training program

·         Attend regular HSE meetings with Project Management and other interested parties with respect to safe working
