Automotive Software Engineer

Vestel Electronics is looking for Software Engineers to take part in the design and development of various automotive applications and components including but not limited to Infotainment Systems, Instrument Clusters, Telematics, and Vision & Display solutions for next generation vehicles.
As a Software Engineer, you will work in a dynamic R&D environment where innovative products are designed using new technologies. You will

• Analyze software requirements and create detailed design for software components
• Design, develop, and implement software for various components in the automative domain
• Work with internal cross functional teams to develop a working model or PoC (proof of concept)
• Initialize and contribute projects which require high level knowledge in software design of the electronic parts of vehicles, working with cross functional teams

Minimum Qualifications

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering,  Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent/related field
• 3+ Years of software development or academic/research experience
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Desire to work on modern software architectures, middlewares
• Desire to study and explore protocols and standards of Automotive Domain
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of software architectures, AUTOSAR, Model-Based-Design, UML
• Experience of developing in a multi-threaded environment with any real time operating system
• Experience with automotive electrical interfaces such as CAN, LIN, EAVB, MOST, LVDS.
• Experience with Model Based Design development and Auto code generation (Mathworks Matlab Stateflow)
• Knowledge of OpenGL, OpenVG and other rendering technologies
• Experience with Automotive SPICE and/or CMMI
