RECRUITMENT FOR TURKEY

“Doctors Worldwide Turkey is looking for Psikolog for EU supported Refugee Health Project in İstanbul.”

Doctors Worldwide Turkey is an international humanitarian aid organization who serves medical relief to communities in need through the provision of sustainable medical relief and health based development programmes over 40 countries worldwide.

With support of EU, Doctors Worldwide Turkey (DWWT) provides primary health care (PHC) and psycho-social support for refugees in İstanbul.

Psikolog is responsible for the implementation of psychosocial support intervention for the target population.

• Perform basic psycho-social support (PSS) consultations to beneficiaries to address underlying distress.
• To detect more serious forms of distress and other mental health conditions.
• Assists in the pre and post evaluation tests of the psychosocial intervention.
• Collect and track weekly data at community level, including the results of basic PSS consultations to beneficiaries during PSS interventions, in accordance with statistical reporting forms.
• Submit weekly reports to the Medical Supervisor.
• Report any problems in a timely manner to the Medical Supervisor.
• Ensure that the target population has access to mental and psychosocial support services.

Duration: Until 28 Feb 2017

Contract: Employee – Fixed Term

Working Hours : Monday to Friday - 17:30-21:30, on Saturday 14:30-18:30

Location              : Istanbul
