QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
The management task:
In this executive position you will manage and operate a world class manufacturing organization with P/L responsibility for the plant. You will reach expected results (Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Profitability) by ensuring efficient processes across the entire operation and by enhancing technical competence. With your management team you continuously improve the execution model and strive for best-in-class levels. As a major change agent and passionate leader you are deploying Lean Management, safety and quality systems as well as the respective philosophy. You represent the plant towards customers and external stakeholders and maintain good relationships with local authorities. As a member of the global management team you support regional and global initiatives.
Your management skills:
For this position, we are looking for candidates who have extensive management experience in manufacturing and at least a Bachelor degree in engineering or a comparable field. You will contribute by translating strategic directions into manageable plans and tasks at plant level. You have deep experiences with manufacturing major components and equipment ideally gained in industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Marine or Mechanical Engineering. We expect five to ten years of experiences in manufacturing management gained in senior roles like COO, plant manager and/or production manager. Apart from a strong focus on results you have solid knowledge in how to develop a lean production. On account of the company’s global orientation, you are able to negotiate in English and Turkish language.
