QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Technical Qualifications: - Being Master or PhD Student,
- Experience in basic cloning techniques,
- Knowledge of vector design (lab experience is preferred),
- Preferably cell culture experience,
- Knowledge in bioprocess engineering and/or bioprocess centric gene technology/molecular biology is advantage (Estimation how Promotor & 5’UTR Engineering as well as other vector sequences & transfection types would have an impact on unit operations of Upstream and Downstream Bioprocess),
- Use of MS Office Programs at advance level,
- 70+ test result from English Proficiency Exams such as YDS, ÜDS, KPDS (or equivalent of TOEFL is also accepted),
Technical Courses/Certificates to be documented:Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Microbial/Viral Genetic, Cell Biology, Immunology/Immunotechnology, Animal Cell/Tissue Culture and preferably Bioinformatics, Economics/Engineering Economics.

Scholarship for Master/PhD Students - VECTOR DESIGN
We are seeking for Master/PhD Scholars on biotechnology field for business packages of vector/cell/bioprocess development of a project which we manage in a collaboration with our R&D partner, TUBITAK MAM (Marmara Research Center in Gebze) Gene Technology and Biotechnology Institute (GMBE). Scholars will join the project at TUBITAK MAM in Gebze and perform their research as an industrial thesis during the project period.The project consists of several stages of bioengineering applications (gene technology, molecular biology, biophysical chemistry, immunology, bioprocess engineering, clinical trials). Because it is the first project supported by TUBITAK for biopharmaceutical development from vector design to industrial scale production including clinical trials in Turkey, it has a significant impact to Turkish as well as International Biopharmaceutical Market and has a big potential to improve and shape the future of Turkish Biopharmaceutical Industry.Project Topic: Recombinant Monoclonal Anti-Cancer Antibody Production by Mammalian Cells
