R&D Engineer, Snacks (for 8 months)

• Minimum 5 years demonstrated success in Quality Assurance/Quality Systems or Technical Leadership role.
• Demonstrated skills and practice of Six Sigma/statistics and process capability/FMEA.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Commissioning/Qualification/Verification, Quality & Food Safety principles & innovation workflow processes.
• Demonstrated self-starter, with ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross functional partners.
• Ability to work effectively and manage risk in a fast paced environment with ambiguity and change.
• Solid interpersonal skills in listening, coaching and communicating with integrity & organizational skills such as knowledge of troubleshooting tools / techniques.
• Demonstrated skills in managing conflict and using data to drive decisions, even when unpopular.
• 10-20% travel required.

İŞ TANIMI

• Utilize the Quality and Food Safety Technical Stage Gate Process to support snacks project team members from a Quality perspective in the proactive identification and mitigation of Quality related issues during the R&D innovation process.
• Assures that all products produced conform to the intended product design. This includes being responsible for change management and process improvement as the R&D Quality Champion.
• Utilize Quality Tools such as Lean Six Sigma, FMEA's and Risk Assessments to facilitate development activities, identify potential issues/risks and formulate mitigation steps prior to commercialization.
• Provides strong leadership in defining and assuring the process, product and packaging capability through the application of statistical methodologies for the new innovation or product / process change, to ensure a high a level of confidence in the successful launch and in order to identify material variability, and manufacturing and/or process gaps.
• Be the gate keeper for TSG Quality sign off at Gates 3 & 4.
• Provide regional responsibility for the Europe snacks innovation processes and provide global transparency on snacks projects and metrics into the Global Snacks Team.
