GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI
General Qualifications:
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science with significant exposure to areas of database architecture, ideally in connection with CRM / customer analytics applications
- Professional certification as DB architect / developer with focus on ETL and / or data services, ideally based on Oracle technology
Of advantage:
- Second degree (Master, PhD, MBA) either in DB-related fields or business / finance-related topics
- Oracle BI and database appliance certificates
Required experience
- 4-6 years of professional and/or post-graduate academic experience in relevant fields: DWH, ETL, BI, DB architecture, DB performance optimization
- of which more than 2 years are recent work experience in retail business (b2c or b2b2c)
Of advantage:
- CRM / customer rating application experience
- Responsibility for large DB architectures in these contexts
- Relevant (DB-related) work experience in insurance or other retail financial services
- Understanding of financial statements, particularly in insurance / FS context
- Oracle BI experience
Personal profile:
- Strong analytical skills and mind set
- Driven by results, hard working
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Customer orientation in own approach to work
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
- Oral and written communication skills up to senior executive level
- Fluency in English, written and spoken

The MIS department is currently responsible for all technical / data aspects of all financial and operational reporting in the company. We are interested into strongly developing the scope of this department into real-time, data-driven decision support in all core functions of the company.
The position described here will be responsible for:
- Determining data need and data availability for existing and emerging business purposes
- Designing and implementing the data architecture in our reporting and operations databases
- Designing and implementing data flows between databases and applications / reports
- Advising and supporting the business analysts regarding data selection and provision
- Ensuring database security, performance and availability during design, build, test and during / after deployment
- Building, testing and optimizing ETL jobs, T-/PL-SQL procedures and queries
We are offering this position in a young and dynamic team reporting to Group Manager (Board-1) level. The compensation package is competitive, based on demonstrated experience.
