QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The finance advisor will be part of the Retail finance team, supporting Retail Onsite business including Sales&Ops, Network and Marketing.
The Retail B2C Finance Advisor is responsible for providing front line business decision support to the Retail Onsite organisation, including Sales&Ops, Network and Marketing. This includes, but is not limited to business appraisal, planning, risk management, and business assurance.

Business Acumen and Commercial Mindset
Excellent written and spoken English is a must
University Degree
Background in Financial Analysis and Economics
Preferably Experience in Financial Modeling
Through understanding of macroeconomic indicators
Strong stakeholder management abilities
Qualified analytical skills
Excellent Team Work
Strong priority setting skills
Minimum 2 years of Experience in Finance Function

İŞ TANIMI

(a) Functional Leadership
- Spearhead the idea of Connected Finance: Build and maintain effective relationships within the wider Retail business organization and with business partners, the global and local business finance organisation within the Market Unit as well as offshore Finance Operations

(b) Strategy & Planning
- Support the operational planning process for the operating unit, ensuring business ownership and alignment with the Global Retail Planning team.
- Operationalise the plan as required to a granular margin, cost level; and also to the site and territory manager level.

(c) Business Decision Support
- Support proper management of pricing, projects with focus on value protection and enhancement (credit, margins, dealer, assets) from an end-to-end perspective.
- Support business initiatives and contracts where required.

(d) Business appraisal
- Support clear and consistent business appraisal and analysis that allows for timely decision making for the business.
- Lead the cost challenge sessions.

(e) Governance and business controls
- Support roll out of a fit for purpose, risk based controls and response framework.
- Support compliance testing as required by the assurance plan.
- Adoption and compliance with the Shell Group Code of Conduct, Ethics and Compliance and Export Controls policies

f) Continuous Improvement
- Support the operationalisation of changes to drive improvements in quality and reductions in cost, seeking gains in efficiency wherever possible through maximizing the use of Shared Services and process Elimination/Standardization/Simplification & Automation
- Continuous focus on leading improvement opportunities (ESSA) in data infrastructure, general reporting processes
- Identification and action of opportunities to reduce complexity, ensure sustainability, encourage lean ways of working, promote best practice and provide focus on financials and value creation.
