Turkey is a key market for Statkraft in hydropower generation and wholesale power trading. Statkraft has 3 Hydro Power Plant licenses in Turkey.The 20 MW hydro power project Çakıt was completed in 2010. The construction of the 102 MW Kargı Kızılırmak hydro power project started in 2011 and the plant will be in operation by Q1 2015. In 2012, construction of the 517 MW Çetin hydro power project started and the plant is planned to be in operation by 2018. The three plants together will have a total annual generation of approximately 2 TWh. We are now looking for a highly skilled Operation Manager to work with the Operation team in Kargı Kızılırmak Hydro Power Plant in Osmancık subprovince of Çorum . The Operation team works under the supervision of the Operation Manager. The Operation Manager will report directly to the VP/ O&M Turkey.
Job Requirements:
- Electrical Engineer
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written & verbal ( English test will be applied)
- Excellent knowledge of Turkish, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer skills
- Team player and good service-minded personality
- Military service must be completed
- A valid driving license is obligatory
İŞ TANIMI
Job Description:
- You will work with daily management of the Operation team and providing the team necessary technical support and training related to the Control System.
- You will use and contribute also to further development of other computerized support systems
- You will be the local responsible for the MainSAP Management System and give support to other users in the organisation
- You will ensure highest possible safety at the workplace and local HES
- You will have a key role in the update and performance of the local Emergency Response Plan
- The work location is in Maksutlu / Kargı and residency will be in Osmancık
