To support our expansion in Turkey, we are looking for a:
 
Financial Analysis & Reporting Specialist
 
The Financial Analysis & reporting specialist reports to Stryker Turkey Finance Manager.
 
This is a hand on position in a startup organization that requires the reporting skills, analytical thinking capability, efficient communication and problem solving skills. Also, system/process development and improvement skills, good understanding of accounting and reporting principles in local GAAP and US GAAP/IFRS are essential for this role.
 
The Financial Analysis & reporting specialist will mainly be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in financial reporting in HFM, financial analysis on monthly financial statements, annual and quarterly financial projections, and budget.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES
The Financial Analysis & reporting specialist will be mainly responsible for:
 
Timely and accurate monthly financial reporting in Hyperion Financial Management Module (HFM),
Supporting Finance Manager in preparation of annual and quarterly financial projections, and budget,
Timely and accurately financial analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements by collaborating with other finance colleagues,
Reconciliation of the inventory  and fixed asset sub-ledgers to the GL in the month-end close process as well as ensuring the application of the appropriate accounting treatments during inventory valuation,
Monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts with appropriate support and collaboration with other finance colleagues by using Blackline system,
Performing analysis on the reconciliation between Stryker policies / US GAAP and Local GAAP financial statements,
Preparation of control checklists and other documents in accordance with the related Company Policies for the review and approval by the Finance Manager,
Supporting to the Finance Manager for the SOX (internal controls) implementation and execution of periodic internal controlling activities,
Supporting Finance Manager in ad-hoc projects on financial modelling and projections,
Proactively work with other departments to obtain required information during budget and projection processes. 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
 
University graduate with a strong academic achievement on relevant disciplines like Business Administration, Economics, and Finance & Accounting,
Strong skills in MS Office Programs,
Good understanding of US GAAP/ IFRS (preferred),
Good understanding of Turkish accounting, tax requirements and customs (preferred),
Min 3-5 years’ work experience in related areas ideally within an international environment,
Experience in major accounting/financial modules of ERP applications and systems,
Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
