QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Awareness of the responsibilities required in accommodation industry;
  • English language proficiency, both written and verbal,
  • Guest service and business oriented problem solving, decision making,
  • Good computer skills, willingness for new platforms and applications for hotel management,

İŞ TANIMI

  • Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests.
  • Secure payment; activate/reissue room keys.
  • Ensure rates match with reservations, document exceptions.
  • Verify/adjust billing for guests.
  • Instant help guests that are waiting for an available room; communicate with appropriate staff when necessary.
  • Advise guests of messages.
  • Always remember to manage departures in Property Management System.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns. Note down any problems without immediate solution and deliver to hotel manager.
  • File guest paperwork or documentation.
  • Operate telephone switchboard station.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists and credit card authorization reports. 
  • Supply guests with directions and information.
  • Answer, note down, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to guests’ satisfaction. Transfer to the next shift if necessary. 
  • Arrange transportation for guests/visitors who demand. 
  • Count and secure cash at beginning and end of shift. Cash guests' checks, process all payment types.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Keep proper reports and inform hotel manager when requested.
