• Support Customs Brokers in the process of assigning customs tariff codes for all products and business units, including projects when necessary, by obtaining necessary technical information from related sources.
• Organize the customs tariff code study meetings and ensure coordination with all parties involved.
• Support operations for situations requiring specific customs expertise when needed.
• Prepare official letters and detailed explanation documents in case of tariff related litigations.
• Gather necessary documents, calculate origin for internally produced goods, prepare origin documents and follow up related issues based on applicable FTA’s
• Maintain & update related databases & other documentation tools
• Perform periodical controls and prepare reports in its own area.
• Follow up changes in customs legislation, especially tariff and origin areas, and evaluate their impact on the company.

İŞ TANIMI

• University degree in Foreign Trade and/or Business Administration/Economics.
• Knowledge of and personal interest in customs & foreign trade legislation, specialist in FTA and tariff issues.
• Experience in tariff code assignment and origin calculation.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
• Hard working, able to work in a team, self-motivated, good communication and coordination skills.
• Analytic thinking, ability to closely follow up topics against deadlines and ability to take initiative.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
• Customs Brokerage license is a plus.
