Siemens Digital Grid Services & Solutions is researching and developing the future technologies and products of Siemens Group. As being the integral part of this great R&D group, Siemens Digital Grid PTI Turkey is mainly focused on Software Development on Power System Engineering/Planning products and solutions. To accomplish the mission of the group, the candidate will perform as a SW Development Engineer in design and development of Power System domain specific products for Siemens PTI's Software Portfolio.

• B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (similar fields).
•  5+ years software development experience in below qualifications.
• Proven skills in frontend development such as JavaScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, jQuery or similar.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks is a plus (such as Spring, Django, Play or similar).
• Full Stack Web Development experience is a plus.
• Programming experience in Javascript, Java, C++ or Python.
• Relational or NoSQL Database knowledge is a plus.
• SOAP/REST web services knowledge is a plus.
• Team player, customer focused with good interpersonal skills, positive and energetic attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrably successful programming projects/assignments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong organization skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at one time.
• Committed to following development best practices.
• Excellent command of English

İŞ TANIMI

• Working within the PTI software development team across primary locations (Schenectady, NY and Houston, TX, Erlangen Germany, Ankara Turkey) to develop and support commercial application software for electrical power system modeling and analysis.
• Developing and maintaining Web-based applications and components of the PTI PSS® software portfolio under the direction of the development manager(s).
• Analysis of tasks required for development and actively participating in project status reviews.

• No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily.
• Military service should be completed for male candidates or postponed more than 2 years.
