We are seeking a PS Core 2nd Level Operation Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to PS Core 2nd Level Operation Manager of Vodafone Turkey. The accountabilities of this role are
• Monitor alarms related with entire PS Core network (comprising of SGSN, NGME, PCRF, , Deep Packet Inspection , safe internet , video opt. & Reporting Servers and take necessary actions to resolve the problem on a 7 day, 24 hour basis.
• To escalate new trouble reports to vendors, collect logs and traces in order to support the resolution of these problems.
• Detecting faults escalated as alarms, clear codes, performance degradation, outage problems etc. in PS Core network.
• Solve customer complaints of data services escalated by Customer Care for individual subscribers.
• Resolve customer complaints escalated by Corporate customers and other problems escalated by Sales/Marketing teams
• Perform necessary database and configurations modifications for the Corporate subscribers (New apn creation, Setting up GRE/IPSec tunnels, static IP assignment, etc.)
• Perform database modifications in PS Core Network in order to align changes with other network domains (BSC–RNC cut-overs, LAC modifications, etc.)
• To integrate new equipment and prepare-perform acceptance test cases during trial and implementation phases.
• Integrate new GPRS/3G/4G roaming operators to the our network
• Daily monitoring of PS Core performance statistics (such as daily traffic, attach success rate, pdp activation success rate).
• Escalate, Investigate and resolve problems observed in KPI trends.
• Collect data and provide usage information to marketing for forecasting and trend analysis.
• Administrating and getting performance reports of PS Core network, monitoring capacity usages, network general trends and to increase the network quality by making optimization activities.
• Ensure systems interoperability between NGME & IN Platforms for Real time charging.
• Take system backups periodically.
• Making system administration activities of all SUN, HP & Linux servers (>10 high end machines.
• Maintain an overall view of the problem reports and facilitate end-to-end problem resolution for Data related issues.
• To prepare and update procedures within the PS Core for operational tasks (configuration management, performance management, fault management, escalation procedures, etc)
• Preparing Unix script and macro for regular daily works to make it easier
• Providing consultative support to Sales Team for Corporate customer solutions requirements (New APN creation, connectivity architecture, etc)
• Periodically reporting about GPRS/3G usage trends to marketing department
• To conduct trainings/workshops for Mobile Data concepts and best practices.
• To prepare presentations and training documentation about Data infrastructure
